What to ask before booking a private pool villa
Photos help you picture the space. A few good questions tell you whether it suits your trip.

Start with how you'll use the villa
Do you want a swim every morning, an afternoon outdoors, or a place where the whole family can sit together? Knowing what you want makes comparing villas easier than looking only at size or price.
At Romana, every villa type has a private pool. To choose well, look further into each type's location, layout and terms of stay.
How is the size measured?
A size figure may include the indoor rooms, the terrace and the pool. If indoor living space matters to you, ask for that figure on its own. If you prefer resting outdoors, the terrace layout and where the seating is may tell you more than a single total.
Does the pool suit the people you're traveling with?
Ask about the size, the depth and the way into the pool. When traveling with young children or less confident swimmers, check this before you book. A private pool still calls for following the guidelines and proper supervision.
You can also ask about pool hours and the cleaning schedule, so you can plan your day.
How private is it, and where exactly is it?
“Private pool” means the pool is part of the villa's space as described for the room type; it doesn't automatically mean every corner is screened from view. If privacy is a priority, ask directly about the layout of the grounds and the villa's position.
Likewise, an ocean-view villa and a beachfront villa are two different things. Look at the right room type and the right captioned photos, and ask clearly about what you need before you decide.
What does the rate include?
Check the number of guests, breakfast, taxes and fees, extra beds and the change/cancellation terms. Services shown in styled photos may be sold separately. Don't assume flowers, cake, dinner or minibar drinks are included in the rate.
The right choice is one where you understand clearly what you'll get, and only then weigh the price for the dates you want.
